William Eugene Hensley, best known as Gene, was born in 1939 in Madera California.

He passed away April 25, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannie Hensley, married for 64 years. He has three sons, Mike & Monica Hensley, Gary & Lana Hensley & Joel Hensley, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Hensley, Larissa & Michael Raymer, Jonathan Hensley, Nicole Hensley & Tyler Hensley, blessed with four great-grandchildren, Daniel Ortiz, Jaydon Ortiz, Jasmine Ortiz & Kaleah Raymer.

Gene was an ordained minister & presbyter with Assemblies of God. He was an instructor at Vale National Institute for over 20 years instructing his students in the insurance claims field.

A celebration of life and legacy will take place at Calvary Worship Center at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 14 at noon, located at 4581 E. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA, 559-228-8146.

In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to Calvary Worship Center in his honor.
