Tony was born in Fresno CA and grew up in San Joaquin CA, graduated from Tranquility High School.  He then proudly served in the United States Army where was stationed in the U.S. and Korea.  He was honorably discharged and worked as a machinist until his retirement.

Tony was the son of the late Josephine Topete.  He had one brother Harry and wife Lola of Kerman.  He also had six sisters, Lupe Topete, Helen Baeza, husband Ruben Baeza, Margaret Castaneda, husband David Castaneda (deceased), Rebecca Alaniz, husband George Alaniz, Rosey Hernandez, husband Henry Hernandez and the late Gloria Diaz. Tony is survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Tony will be greatly missed and remembered for his noteworthy fishing skills and his prized motorcycle.  A graveside service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery in Fresno, California on Monday March 10th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
