Sharon Christine McGhan, married name Sharon Burns, age 82 passed away on 10/4/26 in Clovis CA at Willow Creek skilled nursing. Sharon was born in Wichita, KS, to parents Clare and Christine McGhan. This is where her father Clare McGhan served as a meat inspector for the Army during WWII. After his time served there, he returned the family to Michigan where Carol, Sharons sister was born when she was 3 years old. The family lived in multiple different cities in Michigan until they moved to Pacheco, CA. Sharon was about 14yrs old. She went to College Park High and then to Diablo Valley Jr. College. After a year at Diablo Valley Jr College her father got a job at the Farm Feed Store in Fresno, CA. She moved with her parents and lived most of the rest of her life in Fresno. She did briefly live in Stockton and Santa Barabara with her husband David and daughter Michele. Sharon at the time of death she was member of the Women’s Auxiliary post 147, Church Woman United and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She was a retired Title Clerk for Clawson Honda.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Michele Locatelli(Burns), son Michael McGhan, son in-law Mark Locatelli, grand children Mercedes McGhan, Evan Basham and Erin Basham, great grand sons Aldrich and Abacus. She has 3 nieces, 2 great nephews, 7 great nieces and lots of cousins.

There will be a memorial lunch on Monday the 19th of October at 12:00pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in the Lindsay Parlor. 2435 N Thesta Street, Fresno. Please bring your stories to share of Sharons life. Graveside service will be held on a later date.
