It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Saundra Kay Boren on January 10, at the age of 54. Saundra lived a selfless, modest life with immense empathy for others–a strong, earnest, brilliant, and loving soul that left an enduring impression on Earth. All would attest to her boundless generosity and love for all.

Born on January, 21, 1970, in Lompoc, California, to Charles and Rebecca Boren, she grew up with two sisters, De-Anna and Vikki. She was a dedicated student who worked her way through a degree specializing in child development at Fresno State. She would go on to dedicate her professional career to the well-being and nurturing of young children, her life's true passion. She was capable of putting a smile on the face of every child she met.

A single mother, she raised her pride and joy, Jacob Boren, with the love and care of a thousand villages. Her family will forever treasure her as she did them in life.

Saundra is survived by her son, Jacob. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles.

An intimate service to celebrate Saundra's life will be held on January 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clovis Funeral Chapel. All are welcome. Cards and flowers are welcome.
