Obituary

Otis Ely Loring was born on February 7, 1930, in Hinton Oklahoma to Edwin Rutherian and Early May Loring. He was the twelfth of thirteen children. When he was a few months old Otis' family relocated to California. He milked cows on his parent's Dairy Farm and graduated from Dos Palos High School in 1949.

While visiting family in Oklahoma in 1950 he met and married the love of his life, Faye Dean Estes. This August would have marked 74 years of marriage. Otis served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954.

Otis was a hard worker; as the Proprietor of Gas Stations with his brother Oscar Loring, as a Commercial Truck Driver for United Grocers for 30 years and as a Citrus Farmer in Clovis for 45 years.

Otis attended Church faithfully, attending the Wings of Faith Church in Pinedale for 20 years and the Clovis Pentecostal Church of God on Peach and Sierra for the last 5 years.

Otis is survived by his loving wife, Faye; daughter Julia and her husband Steven Bambusch; daughter Janie and her husband Kenneth Hanneman; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Otis has now joined his parents and 12 siblings in heaven, and is reunited with his son Larry Loring, who went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2021.
