Obituary

Ninfa Lozano, affectionately known as "Nancy" to her friends and loved ones, passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 67 with her loved ones by her side. She was born on February 3, 1957, in Mercedes, Texas. Nancy was truly a once in a lifetime kind of woman. She was loved for her giving heart and outgoing personality. She had a great sense of humor, always ready with a witty comeback, and a laugh that was so infectious, when you would hear it not only did you know who's laugh it was, but it would always make you smile no matter if you were in a good mood or not. Her presence was a source of joy and laughter, there was never a dull moment when she was around. She brought laughter and fun to every gathering.

Nancy loved spending time with family and friends. When she had free time, Nancy enjoyed various hobbies. She was very creative and enjoyed many different crafts such as painting, drawing and sculpting ceramics. Aside from crafts, she had a green thumb and enjoyed being outside in her garden. When she was not doing crafts or gardening, Nancy loved going to yard sales and thrift shopping with her sisters and friends. She was always on the lookout for unique pieces to add to her collection. She cherished moments by the ocean, admiring sea animals, drawing in the sand, and collecting shells and driftwood for her garden. She found peace in watching beautiful sunsets and incorporating her beach treasures into her garden space.

Nancy's role as a Mother and Grandmother was one, she cherished deeply. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and the legacy of her love will continue to flourish in their lives.

Nancy is survived by her Daughter and Son in law, Cindy & Ramzey Rojas; Son and Daughter in law, Kelly & Maricela Cruz; Granddaughters, Shelby Rojas and Chloe Rojas; and Sisters; Estella Barrera, Lucille Dominquez, Norma Nix, Diana Kelley, Corina Lozano and Belinda Fuentes. She was preceded in death by her Father, Eduardo Lozano; Mother, Carlotta Lozano; and Brothers; Robert Zuniga, Jorge Lozano, Dan Lozano, Juan Lozano and Ruben Lozano.
