Nicole Alvarez Herrera, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, Tía, and friend, has gone to heaven leaving behind a legacy of strength, faith, and unconditional love. Nicole worked for Fresno Unified School District for many years, dedicating herself to her work and to those around her. Despite a difficult upbringing, she accomplished every goal she set her mind to. She was the strongest person many of us will ever know—facing life's challenges with courage, and even in her final days, showing resilience and determination through the pain.

Nicole's heart was unmatched. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need and always welcomed others with open arms. To know her was to feel her presence—bright, warm, and unforgettable. She lived an adventurous life, but always kept God at the center, reminding others of His truth and His way.

Nicole is survived by her children, Angel and Nicolette, as well as her granddaughter Esperanza, who will forever be watched over by their loving guardian angel. She is reunited in Heaven with her eldest son Joe, her granddaughter Analiea, and countless loved ones who went before her.

Though her passing leaves a deep void, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain or sorrow, but at peace. As Nicole always said, "It's never goodbye, but see you later." She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
