Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and immense gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Ann Dailey, who left this world peacefully at the age of 90 on May 22, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born in Kingsburg on November 30, 1934, Mary Ann lived a life defined by grace, quiet strength, and an unwavering kindness that left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. She was the heart of our family—a constant source of warmth, wisdom, and comfort.

Throughout her life, she believed in the power of small acts of love. Whether it was a home-cooked meal delivered during hard times, a handwritten note tucked into a birthday card, or the simple gift of her time and listening ear, her kindness knew no bounds. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cherished.

Mary Ann was a loving mother to Ronald, Rhonda, Rick and a proud grandmother to her four loving grandchildren and  five beautiful great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Devon Dailey, siblings Galen, Kenny, Fran, Don, Dorothy, and her parents Henning and Julia Leaf. She taught us the value of patience, humility, and compassion—not by lecture, but by living example. Her home was always open, her arms always welcoming.

A woman of quiet faith and enduring love, she found joy in life's simple pleasures— going to church, cheering for her grandchildren at their sports events, and sharing stories of the past. Her legacy is one of deep love and kindness—a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A viewing will be held June 6, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Clovis Funeral Chapel located at 1302 Clovis Ave. The graveside service will be held on June 7, 2025 at 9:00 am at Redbank Cemetery. A celebration of life to follow after the service. Though she is no longer with us, her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and enduring love will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
