Mary Belcher (née Martin), age 85, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Clovis, California.
Born on August 1, 1940, in Fresno, California, Mary grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She was one of several siblings and maintained close ties with her family throughout her life. She is proceeded in death by her brothers Joe, Frank, John, Bob sister Fran, and her parents. She is survived by her brother Bill who cherishes her memory.
On May 14, 1961, Mary married Ron Belcher. Together they shared 64 years of marriage filled with devotion and partnership. They raised two sons, Richard and Ronald, and built a life centered around love for their growing family. Mary took great joy in being a grandmother to Nate, Matt, Chris, and Mari—the children of Ronald and Martha—and later embraced the role of great-grandmother to Max and Elio with warmth and pride. Her family circle also included Christina Belcher, Matt's wife, Natalie Donato, Nate's wife, and Claudio, a close friend of Chris.
Mary's greatest passion was her family. She found deep fulfillment in nurturing those around her and creating a home filled with care and connection. Her love for cooking brought people together around the table for countless meals shared in laughter and comfort. She also enjoyed bowling—a pastime that brought her both joy and camaraderie.
Those who knew Mary remember her as a kind and caring person whose gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape with love.
May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Viewing will be held on August 22, 2025, from 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Clovis funeral chapel 1302 Clovis Ave. Interment to follow viewing at Clovis Cemetery at 11:30am. corner of Herndon and Villa
