Obituary

Mark was born on December 27, 1953, in Fresno to Jack and Naomi Patrick. Mark passed away on June 10, 2024. From a young age, we could say that Mark was a Big Brother; a Bee Boy; a manager for drive-ins and swap meets; an airplane fuel replenisher; and an equipment salesperson. But most of all we would say that Mark was the most wonderful Son, Grandson, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Friend that you would want to know and have.

Mark was committed to his work ethic and a person of few words except when it came to airplanes, helicopters, gardening, fishing, camping, music, guitars, amplifiers, musical instruments, antiques, cooking, cast iron pans, and miniscule details of anything and everything, all while appreciating a good gluten free dessert.

Mark married his life-long love, June Jeters, on December13, 1985, also becoming Dad to Anthony and Cindy. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Naomi, his wife, June, and their son, Anthony Munoz. Mark is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Mike); grandchildren Tyler (Ashleigh), Marcus, Jaxson, Bobbie, Jani, Thomas, and Christian; great-grandchildren Ashlynn, Delilah, and Tyler; siblings Joel, Paul (Nancy; Cody & Cory), Karen (Herman; Kate & Danial – Henah & Shahab, SpotOn, and Tess & Bradley), and Carolyn (Curtis; Vincent & Kayla, and Claire); Aunt Joyce, and several cousins.

Mark never met a baby he didn't love or love to hold. He enjoyed taking the time out of his day to show the children airplanes or to see Christmas lights. He treasured his time fishing with his high school buddies on their yearly camping trips. And, of course, Mark reveled in going to any flea market, neighborhood yard sale, or swap meet.

Mark was very thoughtful. You may not receive a birthday gift from him, but he'd show up at the next family gathering with the perfect addition to your collection or interest. Although Mark was an unassuming man, his significant presence will be greatly missed at our family gatherings, and in each and every day of our lives.
