Mrs. Mahin Houshmand Aminian was born on October 1, 1930, in Tehran, Iran to Mr. & Mrs. Abdol-Hussien Houshmand.  As a judge, Mr. Houshmand exposed his daughter, Mahin, to justice, fairness and helping people--traits that she carried throughout her entire life.  Later in life, Mahin met her future husband, Dr. Akbar Aminian, who had just finished his Dentistry school at Tehran University.  They had four children together.

In early 1980, Mahin and Dr. Aminian moved to San Jose, CA, to be near all their children.  Mahin was a very sociable, happy, vivacious, and elegant lady that was loved by her family and friends.  She was very active in her community with philanthropic actions and deeds.

Mahin is survived by her three sons and a daughter--Dr. A.M. Aminian and his wife Sandra, Kamyar, Lila, and Kayhan--granddaughter Mahin and her husband Spencer, and other extended family members.
