Kenneth Rawlings III, son of Marjorie and Kenneth Rawlings Jr., died September 9, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was married to Janet (Hoyt) Rawlings for 53years. Together, they have a son, Michael Paul and wife Darlene, grandchildren James, Serenity
and Ryan and "adopted" son Russell, wife Shannon and grandchildren, Kyla and Austin, wife Kaylee and great grandchildren, Sage and Luke. He also leaves behind nephew, Matthew Majoros. He is proceeded in death by his nephew, Jeremy.

Kenneth graduated from Sevierville High School and attended Georgia Institute of Technology cum laude with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After graduation he worked for the Air Force at Edward's Air Force Base. While at Edwards he worked on various flight test programs including the B-2. Ken was selected Flight Test Engineer of the year in 1993. He was a member of Oakhurst New Community UMC, Coarsegold Historical Society and Society of Flight Test Engineers.
