Kenneth Wayne Deaver 

May 1, 1946 – March 20, 2026

Kenneth Wayne Deaver passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, in Idaho at the age of 79.

Born on May 1, 1946, in Sanger, California, Kenneth was a proud graduate of Clovis High School, Class of 1964. A gifted athlete with a promising future, he was signed by the San Francisco Giants organization following high school. Unfortunately, a serious automobile accident resulted in an arm injury that prevented him from pursuing his professional baseball career.

Following high school, Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. His military service was a source of great pride throughout his life. Later in life, he faced health challenges resulting from congestive heart failure and complications related to Agent Orange exposure.

Kenneth will be remembered for his resilience, his love of family, and the pride he took in both his military service and the accomplishments of those he loved.

He is survived by his son, Joshua, and daughter-in-law Erin of Texas; grandchildren E.J. and Kaylin; daughter-in-law Betsi of Idaho; and granddaughter Grace. He was preceded in death by his beloved first son, Jerred Deaver.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Academy Cemetery in Clovis, California.

Kenneth’s family is grateful for the love and support shown during this difficult time. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
