Katherine Flora Pugh-Gonzales, born in Davidson, TN, lived most of her life in Raisin City, California, and passed away on February 16th, 2024, in Selma, CA lovingly surrounded by her children. Katherine Pugh-Gonzales was born on May 11, 1932, to her parents Lera Layne and Edward Pugh in Davidson, TN. Moved to Fresno, CA in 1949. After moving to California, she met the love of her life Celestino Gonzales, and they went on to raise 6 children. Katherine, or Kay as she was affectionately known by, spoke her mind, unconditionally, unselfishly loved her children and supported them all her life through the many highs and difficulties of their lives, while making sure they did not go without. She also made it her mission to care for her deceased partner in life Celestino Gonzales during the time he was with us. Katherine was also passionate about her faith, flowers and Wrestling. She loved gardening and buying lots of flowers to watch them grow from bulbs or seed into something beautiful. She also loved watching a good Wrestling match on TV. She also loved having parties that brought family and friends together. To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement. The family members and people she touched during her lifetime is priceless. Katherine was unselfish to a fault. Often neglecting the needs of herself for the needs and well-being of her children, family and many friends. Katherine is survived by a son, four daughters, twelve Grandchildren, and eight Great Grandchildren.
