Obituary for Judy Myers

Judy Myers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Gigi), and friend passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the age of 87.  She was born on November 3, 1938, in Fresno, California.  Judy moved with her family to Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of seven so that her father could attend medical school for five years.  Judy and her family then moved back to Fresno.  Judy graduated 8th grade from St John's and then went to San Juaquin Memorial for two years and then spent her last two years of high school at an all-girls Dominican convent in San Rafael, CA. After high school, Judy went to Fresno State for medical technology but later decided to be a business major and studied business at Fresno City.  It was during this time, she met the love of her life, James Myers.  Judy dated Jim for three months and then was married for a very special 67 years. Once married, Judy traveled with Jim to Rochester, New York, Massachusetts and Texas while Jim played professional baseball.  They later settled in Fresno, California.  Judy started her career at Guarantee Bank for two years and then stayed at home to raise her family for 17 years.  Judy later continued her career in banking and also as a product specialist. Judy was a faithful woman and loved her church, Holy Spirit.  She spent 15 more years working at the church in the CCD program and then at the front desk.  Judy touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Judy lived her life with her heart centered on her family.  Nothing brought her more joy than being present for her children and grandchildren, cheering for them, supporting them, and celebrating every milestone, big or small.   She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, James Myers, who remained the love of her life from the moment they met.  She is also survived by her daughters, Terrilyn Myers and Karen Harris, and son-n-law Terry Harris.  Judy now joins her youngest daughter, Kristi Todrzak, in heaven.  She adored each of her grandchildren, Brianne Tucker (married to Jay),  Michelle Vargas (married to Paul), Austin Harris, Stephanie Todrzak and Ryden Maroot—and she took great pride in watching them grow into the people they are today. Her joy expanded even more with the arrival of her great grandchildren: Aspyn Torres, Brooklyn Tucker, Blakely Vargas and Noah Vargas, each of whom she treasured dearly.

Judy's parents, Jacques and Bernice Lindauer had five children of which Judy was the oldest.  She is survived by her siblings Kathryn Osteen, Mary Warner, and David Lindauer and his wife Claudette.  Judy was preceded in death by her brother James Lindauer.
