Joseph "Joey" Christopher Sandoval

March 14, 1980 – January 12, 2025

Joseph Christopher Sandoval, affectionately known as Joey, passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on March 14, 1980, in Lakewood, California, to Sylvia Lopez and Henry Sandoval Jr., Joseph brought joy and love to everyone around him.

Joseph is reunited in Heaven with his Father, Henry Sandoval Jr.; his paternal Grandfather, Henry Sandoval Sr.; and his maternal Grandfather, Raul Lopez.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Sabrina; his children, Dominique Hailie (24), Isaiah Joseph (21), Sophia Isabella (13), and Avianna Rheyn (9); his mother, Sylvia Lopez; sister, Stephanie Espinosa and spouse Elliott, sister Andrea Sandoval and spouse Luis; his paternal grandmother, Delores Sandoval; his maternal grandmother, Paula Lopez; as well as five nieces Everleigh, Kyleigh, Jasmine, Hailey, and Kale'a, four nephews Elijah, Damien, Ezekiel, Dacio, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws that loved him dearly.

Joseph attended Buchanan High School, where he graduated in June 1998. In 2011, he earned a degree in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Technology. He dedicated over 16 years of his life working in the grocery industry at Food Maxx, where he made lasting friendships and left an indelible mark on those he worked with.

Joseph had a passion for music and was often the life of the party, bringing laughter and joy wherever he went. He loved cooking, fishing, spending time at the beach, and surrounding himself with the people he cherished most. His love and light will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Joseph's life will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel, located at 1302 Clovis Ave Clovis CA 93612 on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
