Obituary

John Felix Correa slipped into Eternity after a brief, but courageous fight with ALS Disease on August 25, 2024, at the age of 84.  He was surrounded by his loving family and felt the support of his loved ones through their kind words and prayers.

John Felix was born in Fresno, California on March 22, 1940, to Felix and Socorro Gloria Correa. He was the oldest of 7 children and is preceded in death by his parents, loyal brothers, Daniel, Richard, Michael, his remarkable sister Rita and his beautiful daughter Diana. He is survived by his two brothers, Tom and Ernie.

Felix attended Edison High School in Fresno and worked as a laborer in the fields to help support his parents and their family. During this time, he was introduced to Rita Molina who would become the Love of His Life and partner for 64 years. Their family moved to Sunnyvale where he raised his children, John Jr. (Nancy), Diana, Lisa (Robert), and James (Rebecca). Eventually, the Correa family grew to 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Later in his life, Felix pursued his passion for art through higher education and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. He used his talents to benefit his family and worked as a devoted employee of Lockheed Martin for 24 years. One of his greatest loves, aside from Rita, was making and sharing his art.

Felix also loved the company of his family and friends and enjoyed racing motorcycles, riding Harleys, bodybuilding, weightlifting, and traveling with his loved ones. He will be remembered by his bright smile, incredible artwork, curious mindset, and zest for life.
