Esther C. Torres, 86, of Fresno, California, passed away on January 27, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1937, in Leon, Gto Mexico. Esther was a dedicated housekeeper throughout her career.

Esther had a passion for gardening. She found solace and joy in tending to her plants. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed listening to music, finding comfort in the melodies that touched her soul. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, cherishing the moments shared with her loved ones.

Esther is survived by her daughter, Carrie Welch, and son-in-law, Gerry Welch. She was a cherished grandmother to Christopher Ballesteros and Jonathan Welch. Salvador Izquierdo, her brother. Esther also leaves behind her niece, Rosie Barrera, and Janie Gaitan, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Torres, as well as her mother, Maria Castro, and sister, Elisa Hernandez.

A funeral service to honor Esther's life will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel in Clovis, California. The caring professionals at Clovis Funeral Chapel will assist the family with all the necessary arrangements during this difficult time.

Esther C. Torres will be remembered for her dedication to her work, her love for gardening, and her cherished moments spent with family. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
