Dorothy Alberta Jillson , age 81, was born on September 30, 1944, in Missouri and peacefully passed away on May 14, 2026, in Fresno.

Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of many. She dedicated over 30 years of service to Pacific Bell, where she built lasting friendships and took great pride in her work with the telephone company.

Outside of her career, Dorothy found joy in gardening and had a deep love for animals and her community. She was an active member of the AT&T Pioneers volunteer group and the Sanger Humane Society, generously giving her time and compassion to causes close to her heart.

She is lovingly survived by her son Randall Vernon Pearce and wife Elizabeth, daughter Deborah Kelley Rowe and husband Thomas; her grandson Alexander James Rowe; and her siblings Larry and Eileen.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; Lois and Cecil; her brother, Charles; and her sister, Lavada.

Dorothy will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle nature, dedication to her family, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
