Doreen was a woman whose life was defined by love, generosity, and creativity. From a young age, she showed a remarkable talent for sewing, lovingly making clothes for her siblings as they grew up. Her gift for creating extended far beyond fabric—she expressed her love through thoughtful, handmade gifts for family and friends throughout her life.
She dedicated 17 years of service to the City of Clovis before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
She is survived by her beloved siblings, Connie and Ron; Connie's husband, Devin; Ron's wife, Mary; her nephew, Shawn; and nieces, Brittney and Maddie; Brittney's husband, Conner, and their son, Ronan, as well as many other nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored deeply. Doreen was a fun, devoted aunt who created lasting memories by hosting countless sleepovers and special moments filled with laughter and warmth.
Doreen gave selflessly of her time, especially in caring for her siblings when they were young. She was truly the best sister—steadfast, nurturing, and full of heart. Her love for family was evident in everything she did, from baking delicious treats for her loved ones to always showing up with a thoughtful gift in hand. Giving was her love language, and she never visited friends or family empty-handed.
Known for her kind, sweet spirit and her dedication as a friend, Doreen touched the lives of many. She was talented and creative, with a deep passion for sewing and decorating, and was known as an exceptional seamstress.
Her faith was a central part of her life. She loved her pastor, Brian, and her church family at Grace Place, where she found comfort, connection, and joy.
Doreen's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is now resting peacefully with her mother, Dora, and her brother, Paul.
