Devin Jacob
Herrera
May 19, 1987 — April 11, 2026
Devin Jacob Herrera, 38, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Devin was born on May 19, 1987, in Fresno, California, to his mother, Isabel Herrera Facio. He graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, California.
A year after graduating high school, Devin joined the United States Marine Corps. He enlisted in 2006 and was honorably discharged in 2009. Following his service, Devin remained in Southern California building a career in sales, working at various companies over the years. He began as a sales representative and worked his way up to a sales manager, earning multiple awards along the way. Most recently, he was honored with Rookie of the Year at IPS Packaging and Automation.
Devin's greatest focus in life was his work and, most importantly, his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for his children and support them in every way he could. One of his favorite pastimes was playing slow-pitch softball, where he built lasting friendships that became like family—connections he maintained throughout his life.
Devin had a huge heart and a deep desire to care for those around him. He consistently went above and beyond for his loved ones, always putting their happiness before his own. He gave freely of his love and kindness, never expecting anything in return.
He is survived by his children, Jaiden (17), Asher (12), and Blakely (3); his mother, Isabel; his sister, Aubree; his brother-in-law, Josh; and his soon-to-be nephew.
A rosary will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 28, at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on April 29 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, followed by a lunch reception.
In honor of Devin's favorite color, purple, Isabel and Aubree respectfully request that attendees incorporate purple into their attire.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." - John 14:1-4
