Carolyn was born to Melvin Jonhson and Verna Lee Johnson in Julesburg, Colorado.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Sandy, Billy, and Terry, and her daughter Rebecca Marie.

Carolyn is survived by: her husband Robert; her children Cynthia Gallegos, Melody Allen, Robin Fulcher, and Amanda Fulcher; her grandchildren Joshua Fulcher, Ashley Gonzalez, Dillon Rose, Jeremy Allen, Megan Allen, McKenzie Allen, Faith Bartley, and Jordan Cordova; her siblings Janet Johnson, Betty Brantley, Patricia Wilke, Dorothy Land, and Peggy McFerrin.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carolyn began her nursing career 40 years ago.  She worked primarily with the elderly and later in her career exclusively with Alzheimer's patients.  Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, she also enjoyed gardening and reading.  In her younger years she enjoyed sewing, camping, and occasionally writing poetry.  She also enjoyed listening to music, she once had an eclectic music collection.

Carolyn's loss has left a void in many lives, especially those in her family.  She was the glue that kept the family together.  She is and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel, Sept 3rd at 10:00 am with a luncheon to follow at 1:00 pm at Woodward Park, Lake View Shelter.
