Bruce Henry Henderson, 74, of Clovis, California, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, after a courageous 16 month battle with leukemia. He was born on November 3, 1951, in Vancouver, Washington.

Bruce was the second youngest of ten children. During his early childhood, his family lived in Miramonte, California, before moving to Dinuba when he was five years old. He attended Dinuba schools and graduated from Dinuba High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout his life.

In 1978, Bruce moved to Clovis, California, where he founded Big H Tire, a business he proudly owned and operated for more than 40 years. In 2021, the property became part of the Clovis Rodeo grounds, marking the closing of an important chapter in his career. Even after retiring from the business, Bruce continued doing what he loved most, helping friends and neighbors with their automotive repairs until his passing.

From 1978 to 2017, Bruce was actively involved with Easy Riders Motorcycle Rodeo, Inc., traveling throughout the United States and building lasting friendships while participating in motorcycle rodeo events.

Bruce will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering kindness, and love of bringing people together. His annual Christmas celebrations at his Clovis home became a treasured tradition, welcoming more than 80 family members and friends each year. The gatherings featured gifts for the children, games, laughter, and an abundance of food. Creating those memories and sharing time with the people he loved brought Bruce immense joy.

Above all, Bruce treasured his family and friends. Whether hosting a holiday celebration or simply lending a helping hand, he had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome.

Bruce is lovingly survived by his daughter, Hillary Rae Peugh of Clovis, California; his sisters, Frances Skunca of Woodland, California, Sandra Douglas of Kingsburg, California, Sheila Henderson of Kingsburg, California, Margaret Bell of Madera, California, and Cathryn King of Chico, California; his brothers, Douglas Henderson of Exeter, California, and Donald Henderson of Atascadero, California; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Henderson and Barbara Henderson; his brothers, Francis Henderson of Visalia, California and Tom Luchs of Redding, California.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at:
Sonrise Church
3105 N. Locan Avenue, Clovis, CA

A Celebration of Life reception will immediately follow the service at the church.
