Barbara was born in Fresno, Ca. on September 26, 1927. She was the eldest child of Virgil and Mary Mudersbach. She lived in Chowchilla, Ca. most of her life and raised 3 children with her husband. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, gardening, traveling, hiking, snowshoeing and camping. She made many trips to Alaska and visited many states, enjoying road trips with friends. She also loved rug hooking, sewing, quilting, baking and meeting with friends for a weekend or just coffee.  She was very active in her church in Oakhurst, Ca. where she lived for many happy years.  She spent the last years of her life near family and friends in Fresno, Ca.  She is proceeded in her passing by her parents and younger sister, Beverly. She is survived by her children, Michael (Shirl), Allison (Steve), and Dawn (Jimmy) and by her brother, Edward (Julie), 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
